First individual exhibition 1996

Today I want to share with you a very special moment in my life. This is my first individual painting exhibition, an emotional journey that coincided with the birth of my daughter and that was infused with the essence of the landscapes of my childhood, as well as the warm presence of friends and family.

My love for painting has always been an intrinsic part of my being. For as long as I can remember, I have witnessed the impressive landscapes that surrounded my childhood. I grew up in a small town, where nature was the undisputed protagonist. Forests, meandering rivers, and golden sunsets became the color palette of my life. Every corner of that place inspired me and became a work of art in my mind.

Finally, it was time to bring these visions to life on canvas. Years of dedication and perseverance crystallized in a series of paintings that reflected my deep love for those landscapes. Each stroke was a memory, each color an emotion, and each work carried a part of my soul.

But what made this moment so special is the presence of loved ones, friends and my family were there to support me. Their words of encouragement and smiles filled me with gratitude and humility.

However, there was something else that made this moment magical. Just when I was immersed in preparing my exhibition, life had an even bigger surprise in store for me: the birth of my daughter. It was as if the universe had aligned to gift me the ultimate expression of creativity and beauty: life itself.

My daughter came into the world with her innocence and fragility, and at the same time, with a strength and vitality that inspired me in a way I could never have imagined. Watching her grow and discover the world reminded me of the importance of appreciating every moment, of seeing the beauty in simple things, and of expressing what I feel through my art.

So today, when I look back at that first solo exhibition, I see much more than an artistic achievement. I see a moment when my passion became intertwined with life itself, where the landscapes of my childhood merged with the colors of love and family, and where my daughter became my greatest source of inspiration.

Every time I paint now, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and love, remembering that beauty is everywhere, from the landscapes of my childhood to the smiling face of my daughter. And while my art career continues to grow, I know that this chapter will always hold a special place in my heart, as a reminder of the magic that can arise when art and life intertwine in the most beautiful way.

Thank you all for being part of this journey with me.
